Every run I'm having the most trouble with Karil. I've tried two methods so far: melee and Magic. With the melee route I'd dds spec him and finish him off with a Dragon Scimitar. With Magic I'd autocast Iban's Blast. I seem to be killing him much slower than any ... Blessed dhide is better as the improved magic defence is irrelevant, the ranged defence difference is marginal, the increased melee defence of d'hide helps against snakelings, and the prayer bonus helps not use as much supplies. I doubt it matters too much.
